The Rosewood Sound is a NJ-based original acoustic rock band that blends rich harmonies & heartfelt songwriting into a timeless sound. Inspired by artists like Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Sheryl Crow, their music feels instantly familiar, even when you’ve never heard it before. With echoes of classic rock and Americana woven into every song, their sound invites you in like an old, nostalgic friend, offering stories, soul and substance.
Jaymie Gerard (vocals, guitar) is a seasoned singer-songwriter whose lyrics are as grounded as they are evocative - capturing moments of truth that get to the heart of what it means to be alive. Geb Zurburg (vocals, guitar) brings a magnetic presence, a raw vocal edge, and decades of live performance experience that make every show feel personal and unforgettable. Together, they’ve been making music, individually and collectively, for 30 years, and their onstage chemistry is wildly dynamic.
While they often perform as an acoustic duo, The Rosewood Sound also expands into a full four-piece band, adding rhythm, depth, and drive for larger stages. Jon Abate (drums) lays down expressive, rock-solid grooves with over 30 years behind the kit. Rob Roncs (bass) brings warmth, pocket, and intuitive musicality to the rhythm section. The group is rounded out by talented multi-instrumentalist, producer + engineer, Mod, who adds polish, creativity and sonic depth to both live and recorded performances.
